About Kosher Classique

In 1990, Shoshi started making cheese blintzes commercially. As you've already guessed, they were a hit from Carnegie to Caulfield and Ripponlea to Toorak. Extending her offerings, Shoshi lauched her exquisite chocolate biscuit range under the title of Chocolate Creations in 1993.

When her husband Lazer finished his full-time study and joined the business, things really took off! It started with a friend asking them to do a kiddish. The kiddish took attendees by surprise, as it introduced a new benchmark of quality, taste and presentation to Melbourne's unexciting Kosher Catering market.

Next came another friend who really wanted Lazer and Shoshi to cater for their wedding. They again stunned the guests by putting on a magnificent event, pushing their standards even higher.

In 2000, they moved to Hornby Street, Prahran, their first dedicated catering facility. After continued success, they have become known as Melbourne's Leading Kosher Caterer. This success lead them to building a state-of-the-art catering facility in Moorrabbin in 2004. With the capacity to prepare thousands of meals a week, they now employ over 90 staff.

Their simple formula for success still stands: to provide Melbourne with the most exquisite fine food and impeccable service, under the strictest Kashrut supervision.
